Hi, my name is Michelle Lubinus and I am the 5th grade Social Studies teacher at BV Intermediate School.   This is my 14th year in the BVSD, but this school year marks my 19th year as a teacher!

     I grew up on a farm outside of Brandon, SD.  I attended Brandon Valley School District grades K-12, and then upon graduating I went on to Dakota State University to major in Elementary Education with a Middle School endorsement and play basketball.

    My husband, Brent and I currently in Brandon with our son, Jackson.  Jackson is 9 years old.  He loves to play with Legos, going outside to play with his friends and dog, Wrigley,  playing baseball, and going out to Grandpa and Grandma's farm.  Jackson will be in THIRD GRADE this Fall at Robert Bennis Elementary.

    I love to ride horses.  My favorite things will be trail riding with horses.  Some of my other interests include:  watching college basketball (GO UNC!!) and baseball (GO Twins!!), going for walks, gardening, playing basketball and volleyball, shopping, exercising, and reading.
